Chiropractic Insurance Coverage in Edwardsville, IL

Insurance Plans Accepted at Brueggeman Chiropractic Center

Most insurance companies do have coverage for chiropractic care. Insurance benefits vary greatly from plan to plan and company to company. The majority of insurance plans do not require a referral for chiropractic care.

Our office is an In-Network Provider for the following plans:

  • United HealthCare
  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Healthlink
  • Medicare

If you do not see your insurance company on this list, please call our office because we are constantly adding new managed care contracts. Also, some insurance companies and plans have Out-Of-Network benefits that can be used to cover your treatment at our office.

Chiropractic Insurance Benefits

Benefits differ greatly from plan to plan and company to company. To determine what your benefits for chiropractic care are, you can contact your insurance company directly, or our office would be happy to verify your benefits for you. To verify benefits, we need a copy of your insurance card (both sides) and a photo ID (driver’s license). To make verification of benefits easy, our office offers a Free Consultation during which you can speak with Dr. Brueggeman and your insurance benefits can be verified and explained to you before you incur any charges.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs,
    equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider,
and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
